Peer Spanner

Peer Spanner was formed in 1989 by the combining of two professional practices, one specialising in land survey and design and the other majoring on waste management planning and operation. Since that time many changes have been made; on the surveying side investing in modern equipment to enable accurate surveys to be prepared in line with clients’ timeframe, and on the waste side majoring on planning for waste facilities, permitting of waste activities and dealing with contaminated land issues. The principal of Peer Spanner, Ashley Spanner, became a Fellow of the Faculty of Building in 1989 and a member of the Institute of Waste management (now the Chartered Institution of Waste Management) in 1990.

The practice is known for its practical approach to projects, ensuring the outcome is on time, on budget and workable. For major projects where an Environmental Impact Assessment is required Peer Spanner is able to call on some of the best practitioners for the specialisms not held in house thereby getting the client the right results at the right cost.
