PlanningPeer Spanner has been preparing planning applications for various clients for over 20 years. From major involvement with waste and quarrying related applications for landfill sites, recycling centres, transfer stations, quarries and land restoration projects, recently this activity has extended to encompass planning associated with residential developments.
Peer Spanner will bring a practical approach to planning applications so that both planning authorities and clients are able to clearly see and capitalise on the benefits of the project. This brings most applications to a speedy and successful conclusion. |
Environmental PermittingPeer Spanner has extensive experience in dealing with the Environment Agency in the preparation of Environmental Permits for waste associated projects such as Landfill Sites, Recycling Facilities, Transfer Stations and scrap yards.
Years of experiences means that applications will be prepared in a manner that is concise, factual and complete in order that Agency will be in a position to deal with them efficiently. |
Contaminated LandPeer Spanner is able to provide vitally important contaminated Land Surveys to architects, developers, surveyors and estate owners that will identify if land earmarked for development requires any remediation to deal with historical contamination from previous uses of the land.
Many planning permissions require by condition a Phase 1 survey to be carried out to identify any reason for contamination. If contamination is suspected then a Phase 2 (intrusive) survey will be recommended to confirm what contamination is present, this will be followed by recommendations for actions to deal with the issue. |
Topographical SurveysWith over 20 years’ experience of providing surveys to developers, landfill operators, mineral extractors and golf course developers, high quality topographical surveys are provided at a reasonable cost. Surveys can be carried out either by GPS or Total Station methods depending on the terrain and requirements of the client.
Along with the surveys volume calculations, cross sections, landform design and accurate setting out may also be provided. |
Measured Building SurveysThe measured survey of the interior of a large building can show where areas can be managed to provide the most advantageous usage of the floor space. In older buildings it can show where areas have been blocked off and forgotten thereby allowing additional floor space to be gained.
As well as measured surveys, which have been provided to architects, developers and estate managers for many years, Peer Spanner can also offer accurate surveys of the building façade allowing the architect to make alterations based on accurate details |
